The Florida Swimming Top 10 Yards times have been updated with all meets completed before 1/1/11. Top 10 Times

The United States Olympic Committee has named Ryan Lochte Athlete of the Month for December.  Lochte capped an amazing 2010 by winning six events – 200-meter free, 200m IM, 400m IM, 100m IM, 200m back and 4x100m medley – at the FINA Short Course World Championships in Dubai, UAE Dec. 15-19.  With the relay, he broke the all-time SC Worlds medal record, and he broke world records with his wins in the 400m IM and the 200m IM, becoming the first swimmer to break an individual world record in the...

Important FAQ's on the new USA Swimming Background Screening process for all non-athlete members here.

    Florida Swimming, Inc., is currently seeking applications for an LSC championship meet Entry Coordinator.  Applicants should possess a strong working knowledge of the HyTek Meet Manager software and USA Swimming’s Online Meet Entry (OME) system.  The successful candidate will be required to fulfill the following Responsibilities for spring and summer Florida Age Group Championships, Senior Championships and possibly other meets as needed.     ·          Create the MM .hyv file and have it ready for posting on the Florida Swimming website at the same time the Meet...

  In order to maintain their USA Swimming membership in good standing, all non-athlete members must pass a background check through USA Swimming's background check program.      The background check requirement was put into place for coaches in 2006, and, in 2010, the House of Delegates updated this requirement to include all non-athlete members.
