Florida Swimming has released the latest list of Florida Swimming registered athletes that have qualified for the US Olympic Team Trials in 2012.   The lists can be found under "Times" here. We also have more information on 2012 US Olympic Team Trials on the Event Page here.

 Several swimmers did not receive their medals, or were awarded Senior Champs medals at the Florida Age Group Championships due to a problem with the medal order. The proper medals were reordered and all swimmers will receive new FLAGS medals. These should be mailed out to each club next week. If you receive a duplicate medal, please return the extra medals to the Florida Swimming office.

 The Florida Swimming office released the 2012 Championship Meet Bid Forms, and 2012 Regular Schedule Meet Bid Forms.  The forms are due by March 29, 2011.

  Background Check Deadline Approaches   A key deadline for the new background check program is approaching. All non-athlete members (including coaches and officials) who do not have a current background check, must complete the new background check program prior to February 15. If you are not sure if this deadline applies to you, please use the “Background Check Expiration Lookup” feature.  Anyone with a “valid to” date of February 15, 2011 should initiate a new background check as soon as possible. The Fort Myers Estero Open Water Festival will be hosting the first annual Crippen Mile Open Water Swim at Fort Myers Beach on Saturday, June 11, 2011.   COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - USA Swimming today named two-time Olympic coach Frank Busch (Tucson, Ariz.) as its National Team Director.
