Coaches, As many of you are aware, the Florida Swimming Open Water All Star  meet will be on Sunday, April 13th in Ft. Myers.  Selection criteria  for this event is as follows: Senior Champs: Top 5 times from 15-18 year olds boys/girls 1650 FLAGS: Top 5 boys/girls 11-12 1000 and 13-14 1650 *should 13-18 year old swimmers placed in the top 8 in the 1650 decline an invitation to the team, it is the All Star Coach's  discretion to move to the top 8 1000 yard swimmers. From The 2014 SCY FLAG Meet Announcement: In order to accommodate swimmers who transfer into the Florida LSC within the 120 day window, transfer swimmers may apply for an exemption of the 120 day rule provided they petition the Eligibility Committee (defined in this situation as the Age Group Committee plus the Head Meet Referee for FLAGS) and provide proof of permanent residence within LSC boundaries by the athlete and their parent/guardian.
