COACHES: OPEN WATER ALL-STAR TEAM SELECTION PROCESS

Coaches,

As many of you are aware, the Florida Swimming Open Water All Star  meet will be on Sunday, April 13th in Ft. Myers. 

Selection criteria  for this event is as follows:
Senior Champs: Top 5 times from 15-18 year olds boys/girls 1650
FLAGS: Top 5 boys/girls 11-12 1000 and 13-14 1650
*should 13-18 year old swimmers placed in the top 8 in the 1650
decline an invitation to the team, it is the All Star Coach's  discretion to move to the top 8 1000 yard swimmers.

Information will be handed out to qualifying athletes at FLAGS and
Senior Champs.  We will need an answer from swimmers regarding their
participation in this event prior to the completion of their  championship meet. 

This event is once again being held at Miromar Lakes  near Ft. Myers. 
It is a great venue. 

We will have the  opportunity to attend a clinic hosted by a National Team member.
There will be a couple of  other All Star Teams competing this year, and we would really like to
put up a strong team.  Please encourage your distance swimmers to join  us, if they should qualify.
