 See some of USA Swimming's top stars compete in our backyard. We have a specially discounted price available for Florida swimmers, and teams that would like to attend the Arena Grand Prix Orlando as a spectator.  Information can be found here. The meet will run on Thursday Feb. 13th to Saturday Feb. 15th at the YMCA Aquatic Center in Orlando, FL with Prelims starting at 9 AM, and Finals starting at 6 PM each day.

The athlete and assistant coach  application for the 2014 USA Swimming Diversity Select Camp is now available.   Each spring, USA Swimming invites 36 athletes from underrepresented populations to participate in a three-day camp program which includes pool training, motivational and education sessions and team-building activities. Selection is based on USA Swimming sanctioned events. The deadline for both applications is Monday, February 18, 2014.

  The FINA Technical Committee met in Bangkok, Thailand on December 6-7, 2013. At the meeting there was a discussion of the term “separated hands” as it relates to the rule adopted by FINA at its August, 2013 Congress. The discussion resulted in the following interpretation: “Separated means that the hands cannot be stacked one on top of the other. It is not necessary     to see space between the hands. Incidental contact at the fingers is not a concern”   Accordingly, the separated hands in breaststroke and butterfly interpretation issued...
