We have updated our "Clubs" page to include team logos. If your logo is not on the list, please send me one to post. The logo must be a .gif or .jpg file.   We use the logos for meets on the Event Page, and for the club list. The logo should be no larger than 200 x 200 for the Event Page and will be reduced to 50 x 50 for the club list. Send logos to [email protected]

Still haven’t filled out an application for your free SwimToday Kit? Now is the time to act! After an audit of applications, an additional 85 kits have become available! Kits will be awarded on a first come first serve basis so this is your final chance to claim a kit.  The deadline to fill out an application is Thursday April 24th. The Florida Open Water All-Star Team won the LSC Challenge held at Miromar Lakes, FL.  The meet was attended by Florida, Florida Gold Coast, Gulf, and South Texas LSC's.  The finals standings are: 1 Florida Swimming Team Florida Swimming Team 100 2 Florida Gold Coast Florida Gold Coast 55 3 Gulf Local Swimming Committee Gulf Local Swimming Committee 34 4 South Texas All Star Team South Texas All Star Team 33 Results can be found on the Event Page.

  The Start Lists are now posted for the Florida Open Water Championships, and the LSC OW All-Star Challenge.

The Florida Open Water All-Star Roster has been posted on the LSC OW Challenge Event Page. Swimmers selected to compete in the LSC Challenge must be entered by their clubs into the Florida Swimming OW Championships to score points for their club team. ROSTER    

Coaches and swimmers: We all must be aware of the problems that can happen from breath depravation in the water.  This has happened once too often.  Please read this sad story of the recent passing of Nick Johnson. Please put safety first!  

  Dear Open Water All Star Member, I am very excited about our team this year.  We are going to have a great couple of days at Miromar Lakes.  Please plan on being on the beach at the lake by 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, the 12th.  There will be a check in table there for all star swimmers.  Each of you will get a cap and shirt.  Please, if you have not turned in all of your paperwork, bring it with you.  I will need your FL Swimming Code of...
