ATHLETE PROTECTION TRAINING UPDATE INFORMATION

Athlete Protection Training (APT)

MANDATORY TRAINING FOR NON-ATHLETE MEMBERS

Non-athlete members of USA Swimming are required to complete the APT Mandatory Education. New members will be required to have their non-athlete application form and payment processed by their LSC, Florida Swimming (FL) registrar before they can sign in to complete the course. All of the current

members that have APT dates lapsing before 12/31/13 will have their APT date extended to 12/31/13. Do not try to take a renewal of APT until after 9/1/13.

** USA Swimming is NOT taking renewals at this time. Please do not attempt to renew the course at this time. USA Swimming will update the page when they are ready to accept renewals.
 (The course is free of charge and should take about an hour to complete, when available.)
