This issue of Splash features our annual NCAA Championships preview, a day in the life of a college swimmer and a number of other tips for all those who would like to swim in college. Here’s a look at some of the stories you’ll find in this issue:

NCAA Championship Preview
This year’s NCAA Division I Swimming and Diving Championships offer a chance to watch many of those who have honed themselves in London, and even more recently at the Short Course World Championships, as they bring their talent down to Indianapolis. With the addition of a few redshirts making their return to college swimming, the results will be even more unpredictable than most years.

Hanging with Schmitty
Allison Schmitt lives a relatively normal life as a student-athlete, despite having won three gold medals last summer at the Olympic Games in London. Splash kept tabs on Schmitty’s activities for a couple of days via text messaging, and the following is a recap of her days as a college swimmer.

The Perfect Fit
For many graduates, receiving a high school diploma doesn’t diminish their desire to swim. They are just as passionate in the water after graduating as they were when they first jumped in a pool. For such athletes, college swimming is the perfect fit. Here are 10 tips on how to find your spot in college swimming.
