2014 Spring Championship Bids Deadline Approaching

Due to the change in procedure of awarding FL sanctioned meets, as voted on at the 2012 FL
House of Delegates, October 7, 2012, the following procedure will be followed for the 2014
Florida Swimming Spring FLAGS and Spring Senior Championship meet bids:
On January 31, 2013, bids for the 2014 FL Spring FLAGS and Senior Championship meets are
due to the Florida Swimming office (attached).
After the January 31, 2013 deadline, Florida Swimming will send out official FL House of
Delegates ballots for voting on the host for the 2014 Spring FLAGS and Senior Championship
sites. Ballots must be signed by the FL Club Delegate’s designated on the 2013 FL club charter.
FL BOD member ballots will vote in the same manner, as well as athlete representatives to the
FL HOD.
Ballots are due back by March 8, 2013, Friday P.M. session of FLAGS, in Sarasota. Ballots can
also be hand delivered, or postmarked by February 22, 2013 to the FL office.
