FLAGS: SYS wins team title...9 records fall at FLAGS

Sunday
On the final night of the 2012 FLAGS meet Matthew Hirschberger (CAT) broke the 1500 Free meet record with a 6:02.09, Christin Rockway (TBAY)  broke the 11-12 Girls 200 IM meet record with a 2:25.63.

Sarsaota YMCA (SYS) claimed the Combined Team title of 2nd place Bolles School Sharks (BSS), and 3rd place Tampa Bay Community Aquatics (TBAY).

Saturday
The 3rd day of FLAGS is now complete and we had a new meet record in the 11-12 Boys 50 Breaststroke as Matthew Limbacher (T2) swam under the old record with a 33.89.  George McGovern (TBAY) broke his 2nd record of the meet as he swam under the old record in the 13-14 Boys 400 Free with a 4:03.87 to win the event.

Bolles School Sharks (BSS) broke the meet record in the 13-14 Boys 200 Free Relay.

Friday
Meet records continue to fall at the Florida Age Group Championships as Geroge McGovern (TBAY) broke the record in the 13-14 Boys 200 Free with a 1:56.22.  Jason Tillotson (SWIM) broke his 2nd meet record as he swam a 4:40.79 to take the 13-14 Boys 400 IM record.

Sarasota YMCA (SYS) continues to lead the team standings followed by Bolles School Sharks (BSS), and Tampa Bay Community Aquatics (TBAY) after Friday night Finals.

Thursday
The first evening of action at the Florida Swimming Age Group Championships (FLAGS) saw 2 records fall and Sarasota YMCA (SYS) jump to an early lead in the team standings followed by Bolles School Sharks (BSS), and Clearwater Aquatic Team (CAT).

Jason Tillotson (SWIM) broke the first record of the evening as he lowered the Meet Record in the 13-14 Boys 200 Breaststroke with a 2:27.94.  Elise Haan (T2) broke the Meet Record in the 13-14 Girls 200 Backstroke with a 2:16.70.
