Election for FL Junior Athlete Representative to the 2012-2013 Florida Swimming Board of Directors will be held on Saturday, February 25, 2012, during prelims of the “2012 Florida Swimming Senior Spring Championship”, in Orlando, FL. Candidate application will also be accepted on Thursday & Friday, at the meet.A ballot box will be open for voting from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. on deck at the meet.

Please submit your name to be placed on the ballot (write-ins will also be allowed). The following are some of the criteria that must be met while holding this position on the Florida Swimming Board of Directors.

THE ITEMS LISTED BELOW ARE MANDATORY!

CANDIDATES MUST BE ABLE TO FULFILL THE FOLLOWING QUALIFICATIONS:

1.                        Attend all Florida Swimming Board of Director’s meetings. Be a member in good standing with Florida Swimming, USA Swimming and currently competing.

2.                        Attend the USA Swimming National Convention (Greensboro, September 12-16, 2012 - 4 to 5 days)

3.                        Serve for a two (2) year term. Be able to give input at meetings.

4.                        Must be at least sixteen (16) years of age or a sophomore in high school.
