2012 Florida Zone Team Selection Procedures Released

Team Selection:

Forty-eight (48) swimmers will be selected for the team; eight (8) girls and eight (8) boys from the 11-12 and 13-14 and the 15-18 age division.  We will also be selecting a small group of disabled swimmers.  Swimmers must be registered 2012 Florida Swimming athletes in good standing 120 days prior to or as of the first day of the meet, July 31, 2012, to be eligible.  All athletes must have competed in two long course competitions during the months of April through July of 2012 prior to competing in the Zone Championships. This will ensure that proper training and competition leading up to the Zone Championships has occurred.  Any swimmer who has qualified for the current 2012 USA Swimming Junior Nationals prior to the entry deadline for the 2012 Zone Championships, will be ineligible for participation on the team.
