EIGHT MEET RECORDS FALL ON DAY 2 OF JUNIORS
Eight meet records fell Friday at the 2010 Speedo Junior National Championships in Atlanta. Breaking meet records on the second day of competition were Tanja Kylliainen of Loyola Blakefield Aquatics in the women’s 400-yard IM (4:09.66), Carlos Omana of Metro Aquatic Club in the men’s 400y IM (3:47.60), Will Hamilton of Great Lakes Aquatics in the men’s 100y fly (47.32) and the 200y free (1:36.20), Mary Olsen of Sun Devil Aquatics in the 100y breast (59.81), Jacob Pebley in the 100y back (47.62), First Colony in the women’s 800y free relay (7:19.73) and Dynamo Swim Club in the men’s 800y free relay (6:38.56).
Also winning gold medals Friday were Dynamo Swim Club in the women’s 200y medley relay (1:42.00), Bolles School Sharks in the men’s 200y medley relay (1:30.71), Rachel Moore of Crimson Aquatics in the women’s 100y fly (53.32), Quinn Carrozza of Longhorn Aquatics in the women’s 200y free (1:46.64), Rivera Lujan of Bolles School in the men’s 100y breast (55.21) and Courtney Bartholomew of Michigan Lakeshore Aquatics in the women’s 100y back (52.64).
