FOUR GOLDS FOR THE YOUTH TEAM ON DAY 3 IN MAUI

The U.S. National Youth Team won 12 medals – four gold, five silver and three bronze – Saturday at the Junior Pan Pacific Championships in Maui. Americans Chelsea Chenault, Nicholas Caldwell and the women’s 400m free relay also set meet records in their respective events.

After three days, Team USA’s total medal tally now stands at 34 – 11 gold, 13 silver and 10 bronze. The Americans lead all teams in the overall medal count and in the team scoring with 322 points. Australia is in second place with 261 points, followed by Japan with 189 points.
