Jr. Nats Day 2: Tosky sets 2nd meet record in Irvine

Jasmine Tosky of Palo Alto Stanford Aquatics won her second event and set her second meet record in as many days Tuesday at the Speedo Junior National Championships in Irvine, Calif. Tosky won the women’s 400m IM with a time of 4:44.85.

It was one of three meet records set on the second night of competition. Also setting meet records were Vladimir Morozov of Swim Torrance in the men’s 100m free (49.15) and Palo Alto Stanford Aquatics (Madeline Schaefer, Camille Cheng, Rachael Acker and Tosky) in the women’s 400m free relay (3:48.24).

Palo Alto Stanford Aquatics leads the combined team score after day 2 with 131 points, with Dynamo Swim Club (83 points) and Sarasota YMCA Sharks (80 points) rounding out the top three.
