Nominating Committee Accepting Nominations for BOD

On behalf of the Florida Swimming Nominating Committee we are hereby accepting nominations for five (5) positions eligible for nomination and election at the 2010 Florida Swimming House of Delegates, which will take place on Sunday, October 3, 2010.  According to the Florida Swimming By-Laws the positions eligible this year for nomination/election include:

Chairman (term limits apply: two, two-year terms);

Age Group Vice Chairman (term limits apply: two, two-year terms);

Safety Coordinator (two-year term, no term limits apply);

Secretary (two-year-term, no term limits apply);

Technical Planning Chairman (two-year term, no term limits apply).

Florida Swimming Nomination Form - 2010

Attached you will find the “job description” for each of the five positions listed above as found in the By-Laws, as well as a 2010 Florida Swimming Nomination Form.  This form is designed to provide the Nominating Committee with essential information on each candidate for publication 20 days prior to nominating a slate of candidates at the House of Delegates meeting. Please be aware that additional candidates may be nominated from the floor of the House of Delegates (604.8).
